Perform with Us

Berks Sinfonietta is a paid, professional chamber orchestra offering performance opportunities to approximately 75 adult and 75 student musicians annually. We hire players for each season, but we’re always on the lookout for talented players to join us as substitutes or for future performances.

Interested? Email info@berkssinfonietta.org with your name, contact information, and qualifications.

**We are a local ensemble. Musicians from the Reading/Berks County area are highly preferred.**

Join Our Concert Committee

We perform between 6-8 concerts each season. At each performance, our volunteers welcome audience members and ensure smooth box office operations. We are always in need of volunteers to take tickets at performances, distribute programs and surveys, and serve as ushers for audience members in need.

Interested? Email info@berkssinfonietta.org with your name and contact information.

Berks Sinfonietta was established in 2014 as a group made up of local musicians, dedicated to exploring the vast repertoire of all periods. One of its distinguishing characteristics is the intergenerational approach, where young professionals, advanced students and gifted amateurs come together to learn from one another and to create performances of unqualified excellence. We also intend to explore various aspects of performance practice, and to build a new audience for classical music through education and outreach.
